Applications for the residential school open every January for the following academic session. Class VI is the main entry point; lateral entry to Class VII – XI is offered against vacancies. Girls only, fully residential, CBSE curriculum on top of the Panchmukhi timetable.
The Vidyapith school begins at Class VI. Lateral entry into Class VII, VIII, IX and XI is offered against vacancies.
There is no day-scholar option. Every school student lives in a school-designated hostel with resident wardens.
The Vidyapith school admits girls only — the same women-only tradition as the university, since 1935.

The child's age as on 30 June of the year of admission is used for eligibility. There is a six-month grace on either side, decided by the Admission Committee.

Age-appropriate written test in April at Banasthali (and select regional centres) — English, Hindi, Mathematics and General Awareness. Duration two hours.
Shortlisted candidates and one parent are interviewed at Banasthali. The interview is a conversation — reading comprehension, general knowledge, and the child's own interests.
For Class XI, an additional aptitude test in the chosen stream (Science, Commerce or Humanities) is conducted alongside the interview.
Merit list published on the applicant portal in May. Selected candidates are ranked strictly by test + interview + Class X marks (for XI) with tie-breaking by the interview panel.
Selected candidates confirm the seat by fee payment within the announced window (usually two weeks). Hostel allotment happens simultaneously.
All papers are age-appropriate and follow the preceding year's CBSE / NCERT syllabus. No child is expected to know anything above her current grade.

Fees include tuition, hostel, mess and library. Uniforms, books, examination fee and board fee (X & XII) are separate. Fees are payable annually or in two instalments — April and October.
