Safety, hostels, fees, health — in plain language.
Everything you'd want to know before entrusting your daughter to a residential university — collected here in one page, without the brochure gloss.
Safety
How the residential design works.
Gated, all-women campus
The 850-acre campus is fully perimeter-secured; access is through two gates, both staffed 24×7.
On-campus hospital
The 250-bed Apaji Hospital is on the same campus — routine and emergency care without leaving.
Resident wardens
Every hostel has a resident warden; every wing has a student prefect.
Counselling centre
Free, confidential counselling is always available; no appointment needed for a first visit.
The detailed campus rulebook is published under downloads.
Hostels
Where she'll live.
Every student is allotted a hostel
There is no day-scholar option. Rooms are shared in the first year and single from the third onwards, dependent on availability.
Named for Indian rivers
The thirty-one hostels — Ganga, Yamuna, Saraswati, Godavari and so on — are self-contained communities with dining, study rooms and courtyards.
Meals in the hostel
All hostels serve four meals a day; dietary requirements are recorded at admission and honoured.
Visits
Parents can visit on any Saturday afternoon and full Sundays. Booking is via the applicant/parent portal.
Fees
What a year costs.
Range varies by programme; the full per-programme schedule is in the prospectus. Merit scholarships and legacy concessions reduce the effective fee for many families.
Staying in touch
How the Vidyapith reaches you.
The parent portal
Fees, results, attendance summaries and health-visit notices are pushed to the parent portal — one account per student.
SMS + email
Term-start, exam and payment notices land on both SMS and email; you can opt-in to hostel-level bulletins.
Warden contact
Every hostel warden's direct number is on the parent portal; every faculty has a designated parent-liaison office.
Emergencies
The Vidyapith 24×7 emergency desk answers a parent call in under three rings — number on the portal and in the prospectus.
