Frequently asked
Questions we're asked most.
Do I need to sit the Banasthali Aptitude Test?+
Yes, for almost all UG and PG programmes. A few doctoral programmes accept national tests (GATE, CSIR-NET) in lieu; those are called out on the programme page.
Can I apply to more than one programme?+
Up to three programme preferences on a single application. You cannot apply twice for the same programme in a cycle.
Is it fully residential?+
Yes — the university is residential. Every enrolled student is allotted a hostel; there is no day-scholar option.
What are the age limits?+
Age limits are programme-specific and appear on each programme's page under 'entrance'. In general, UG applicants must be between 16 and 22.
How is the reservation policy applied?+
Per statutory guidelines for state and national reservations; the details are in the prospectus.
